the mojo has returned!

I finally have gotten down and dirty at the craft table and focused on creating just for me! I don't get to do that too often. I am always creating for work. Don't take that the wrong way...I love it. It is just that I don't always get to post what I have created because it is either for an ad or a magazine or something that is top secret for awhile. Since I have gotten all the kits shipped off to Chicago and everything pretty wrapped up here at the office I rewarded myself to let the mojo go wild and bang out some layouts! I used some new product that we are releasing at CHA next week. The golf page is new soft spoken. I love the page of Ed with our nephew Waylon. All the paper is from the "super cool" paper pad. Finally the page of Makenna is paper from "Reese" my favorite soft spoken butterflies and our notebook paper that is new. This page I did from the Summer Challenge on Stacy Julian's blog. I love this picture of Makenna and thought this would work perfect. This page literally took me 15 minutes. I did exactly what she said pick the picture and then journaled away. Super easy!

I am hoping I can get a couple more done before the end of the day. I do tend to have a little bit of ADD like my friend Stephanie and get easily distracted so you never know. I swear it gets worse as I have gotten older.
Getting excited for the Big Show next week. I am teaching and then walking the show to see what is new out there and then I am hanging with Steph and whomever else we pick up along the way. I will get to meet her friend Lain. From her blog she sounds like a hoot. Fun stuff! Good times, good times! Again, I can say that I am truly blessed. Not many get to do what they love, work and meet awesome and creative people and call them friends! Truly grateful for the path that God has carved out for little ol' me!
I think we might need a little giveaway and this is how it will work. Leave me a comment on what you are grateful for in your life. I will pick a winner this next Mambi Monday. Some new soft spoken, a new paper pad and a fun kit or two!
Can't wait to read your comments!
Ciao!

First of all let me tell you that I like your blog so much! Thanks for sharing some of your projects! How nice of you to have a giveaway! I'm grateful for so many things, but today I'm grateful because a friend of mine had a surgery and everything went well! I prayed so much for her, and thanks God she's fine.

hello love ur LOs. I wish I had time to do something creative. I am greatful for having my four kids with me this summer and that I am able to spend time with them and create lasting memories together.--Isn't that why we all scrapbook--to keep the memories from fading. Sulieen a.

Hi there! Your projects are quite beautiful. I'm grateful for having a quick recovey, a week ago I was really sick, but now I feel much better, without health we can't do anything we like and enjoy, I have learned never take anything for granted.

cute LOs. I especially love the first one; the color combination is fun. After a rough year with the loss of several loved ones close to me, I am so grateful for my family. I've really realized how important they are. I've also determined that I need to ensure that I take time out of my busy schedule to call, email, visit them, etc. Like Forrest Gump once said, "Life is like a box of chocolates . . . you never know what you're gonna get."

Hi there! Today I'm grateful for having the chance to help others, my family and I bought some products to help a foundation that is dedicated to the education and development of children and teenagers with social and economic disadvantages. The Foundation was born thanks to a famous golf player, Lorena Ochoa, I think is amazing to help others, Thanks to Lorena Ochoa for foment one of the most transcendental activities of the life, the donation.

I'm grateful my shorts from last summer still fit! A lot tighter, but I can still get them zipped....whew! Of course, I'm grateful for the obvious things in life, but I don't have the extra cash this year for new summer clothes! Wish I did, but afraid I don't, and Rae needs 'Phase 2' of her braces......Yikes!

My dog was lost, I was really sad. But on Friday a nice person found it and saw the flyers that me and my son made, so I'm grateful for that. The layouts are really beautiful!

I found an album that my grandmother made, I was amazed by all the nice memories of family and relatives. I really had a good time looking at that album, it seems like scrapbook is a legacy. I'm grateful for the nice grandmother that I have.

Everyday when I wake up I thank God for all the blessings in my life! There's always big and small reason to be grateful.
There's a phrase I love:
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift; that's why they call it the present. Have a nice week! :)

I thank God for all the good moments in my life and for give me strenght in the hard ones.
Here's a beautiful Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr that I want to share:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
